Analysis Comparing the Approaches Used by Novice and Seasoned High School English Reading Teachers.

Vol. 6, No. 2, pp. 18-24, 2024 DOI: 10.54691/mxpjek59 February 22, 2024
Abstract.Reading is a key component of teaching English in high school. This study contrasts and compares the pre, while, and post-reading teaching styles of inexperienced and seasoned teachers using the PWP paradigm, and it comes to five conclusions: Both inexperienced and seasoned educators are more aware of the fundamentals of teaching reading; 2. inexperienced educators pay less attention to their students than experienced educators; 3. inexperienced educators are less familiar with their students; 4. inexperienced educators are less familiar with the subject matter; and 5. inexperienced educators … Read more →

Design of Mutiple Signal Generators based on DDS

Vol. 6, No. 2, pp. 25-32, 2024 DOI: 10.54691/jwfax279 February 22, 2024
Abstract. The hardware circuit of the signal generator mainly includes the main control module, DDS module, Voltage-Controlled Gain Amplifier (VCGA) module, keypad module, and LCD display module. The main control module is based on the STM32F103C8T6 as the core controller, and the signal processing section employs the low-power, programmable AD9834 DDS device. The VCGA module utilizes the AD8367 module, providing a controllable 32dB gain range to offer a 20mV/dB output. The waveform voltage amplitude can be adjusted by manipulating the potentiometer on the module and fed back to the oscilloscope. … Read more →

Preliminary Design Study on the Thermal System of an Adiabatic Compressed Air Energy Storage System

Vol. 6, No. 2, pp. 33-48, 2024 DOI: 10.54691/qqj5hg50 February 22, 2024
Abstract.Compressed air energy storage (CAES) system is a new type of energy storage system with characteristics of long-term performance, high efficiency, and safety. In recent years, adiabatic CAES technology has attracted extensive attention. In this paper, the thermal models and the solution processes of the CAES system are proposed, which are verified by the design and operating data of the adiabatic CAES project in Jintan, Jiangsu province. And then, according to the comparison of different CAES technology routes, this paper selects the 300MW medium temperature CAES system with rock cavern for … Read more →
