Reproduction of the Multiphase Structure Characteristics of Typical Corrosion Products on the Surfaces of Underwater Cultural Relics

Vol. 7, No. 5, pp. 1-10, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/08nmh193 May 21, 2025
Abstract. The multiphase corrosion structure on the surface of underwater ceramic cultural relics was successfully replicated via the sol-gel process combined with hydrothermal mineralization treatment. XRD analysis indicates that the corrosion layer mainly consists of pyrite (FeS2, 65±3%) and goethite (α-FeOOH). The difference from the samples of the Nanhai I shipwreck (FeS₂,55±5%) is attributed to the enhanced metabolic conditions in the laboratory. SEM verifies that the layered structure (with a thickness of 200±30 μm) and porosity (35±5%) are highly consistent with those of natural samples … Read more →

Vol. 7, No. 5, pp. 11-17, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/9pr8jh14 May 21, 2025
Abstract. The geological structures of the coal fields in China are complex. With the continuous increase in the mining depth, the coal seams show the characteristics of high gas and low permeability, and the disaster potential of a coal and gas outburst intensifies in the process of coal mining. Gas drainage is one of the primary measures to prevent and control gas disasters. How to effectively improve the permeability of a coal seam is an urgent problem to be solved. Currently, the method of loose blasting is used in engineering to enhance the permeability of coal seams. However, the technology of … Read more →

Preparation, Performance Optimization, and Environmental Benefits of Precisely Carbonated Reactive Magnesia Cement

Vol. 7, No. 5, pp. 25-32, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/7ayf8v47 May 21, 2025
Abstract. This study addresses the technical challenges of high carbon emissions in traditional Portland cement and the tendency of Magnesia Oxychloride Cement (MOC) to undergo "backfiring" (oxidative cracking). A novel preparation method for reactive magnesia cement is proposed, based on precise control of CO₂ concentration (10⁻³.⁴–10⁻⁰.⁷ atm), which promotes the stable formation of hydromagnesite (Mg₅(CO₃)₄(OH)₂·4H₂O). This significantly enhances material strength (compressive strength up to 120 MPa) and weather resistance. Combining PHREEQC thermodynamic simulations and X-ray diffraction analysis, … Read more →

Vol. 7, No. 5, pp. 33-38, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/k05zwe05 May 21, 2025
Abstract.Coal mines in China primarily rely on manual methods for mine ventilation monitoring, which demands significant time, labor, and resources while offering low data real-time performance. An online ventilation network monitoring and early warning analysis software is developed. By integrating underground ventilation monitoring sensors, the system enables dynamic calculations of the ventilation network based on real-time underground changes. It provides clear and intuitive dynamic displays of airflow, wind speed, and other parameters in various tunnels on the ventilation system diagram. … Read more →

Parameter Sensitivity Analysis of the Exponential Filter Model

Vol. 7, No. 5, pp. 45-49, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/323nq355 May 21, 2025
Abstract. This study employs the ERA5-Land soil moisture dataset and applies an exponential filter to estimate root-zone soil moisture across the Indochina Peninsula. The filtered estimates are then compared against the original root-zone soil moisture provided by ERA5-Land. The focus is on examining the parameter range of the exponential filter model—that is, how closely the estimated root-zone soil moisture matches the known ERA5-Land values under different filter time constants. The objective is to assess the impact of filter parameter selection on the estimation results and to provide guidance for … Read more →

Vol. 7, No. 5, pp. 50-56, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/f3pxc807 May 21, 2025
Abstract.Coal and gas outburst has always been one of the main disasters affecting coal mine safety production, and the main areas where coal and gas outburst accidents occur are mainly coal roadway excavation. Taking the 3501 intake and return airway of the 3rd coal seam in Xinyuan Coal Mine as the research object, the latest continuous flow coal roadway excavation outburst prediction technology is introduced. Starting from simulating the in-situ coal seam on the coal roadway simulation test platform, the sensitivity and critical value of the outburst hazard index of the simulated coal seam with known … Read more →

How to Teach Grammar Based on Three-Dimensional Grammar View in Senior High School

Vol. 7, No. 5, pp. 57-64, 2025 DOI: 10.54691/hr98k820 May 21, 2025
Abstract.Grammar is essential for effective communication and academic success in senior high school English. However, traditional grammar teaching often relies on memorization and isolated rules, making it difficult for students to use grammar in real-world contexts. The three-dimensional grammar view, proposed by Larsen-Freeman, focuses on integrating grammar's form, meaning, and use. This paper highlights common challenges in traditional grammar teaching, such as a lack of context and overemphasis on rules, and proposes strategies for applying the three-dimensional approach in high school … Read more →
